Product Features

Product Features:

Designed for Realistic Motion Feedback

The H2 platform reproduces the core sensations of flight and racing through two synchronized motion axes: pitch and roll. These movements represent the primary physical cues experienced during simulated motion.

Pitch
Forward and backward tilt simulates climbs, descents, acceleration, and braking.

Roll
Side-to-side tilt recreates aircraft banking and cornering forces.

By moving the entire cockpit as a single unit, the H2 maintains consistent alignment between controls and body position, helping reduce disorientation and supporting more natural physical responses during simulation.

Engineered for Strength, Precision, and Longevity

Industrial-Grade Construction
The H2 is built from reinforced, welded steel and designed for long-term use. Key components, including actuators and control electronics, are engineered for consistent performance and durability.

The platform supports a combined load of up to approximately 150 kg (330 lb), including the user, seat, and mounted controls.

Smooth and Controlled Motion
The motion system delivers responsive yet controlled feedback. Gear-driven motors provide smooth transitions between movements, allowing the platform to simulate subtle surface changes as well as more pronounced motion effects.

These components are designed for low vibration and quiet operation, making the platform suitable for home or studio environments.

Low-Noise Operation
The H2 uses electric actuators that operate with minimal sound output. Noise levels remain below approximately 50 dB, allowing use in shared spaces without excessive disturbance.

  • Out of the box, the H2 supports a wide range of racing and flight simulation titles through plug-and-play compatibility with common motion software such as SimRacingStudio and SimTools.

Examples of supported titles include popular flight and racing simulators across multiple genres.

The motion software reads real-time telemetry data such as altitude, acceleration, braking, and cornering forces, and converts this data into physical movement across the H2’s motion axes.

Motion parameters including intensity, smoothing, and response limits can be adjusted to match individual preferences for both flight and racing simulations.

    Compact, Home-Friendly Design

Despite its professional-level motion capability, the H2 is designed to be space efficient.

With a footprint of approximately 3 ft by 5 ft, it fits well in home offices, garages, or dedicated simulator rooms. The platform is sized to pass through standard doorways, simplifying installation.

Q: Can I use it for both flight and racing simulations?

Yes. The H2 is suitable for both flight and racing setups and works well with yoke-based flight controls as well as wheel-based racing configurations.

Q: How noisy is it?

The H2 is designed for quiet operation, typically producing sound levels around 45 to 50 dB under normal load, similar to common household electronics.

Q: Is the setup complicated?

No. Most users complete assembly and setup within one to two hours. The platform includes an illustrated manual and clearly labeled hardware to simplify the process.

Q: Can I upgrade later?

Yes. The modular design allows upgrades from the H2 to the H3 by adding a yaw axis, or further expansion to a 6-axis configuration using compatible upgrade kits.

Q: What is the maintenance schedule?

Maintenance requirements are minimal. Periodic bolt checks and keeping actuators clean is generally sufficient. Light lubrication every six months is recommended for heavier use.

Q: Will it work with PlayStation and Xbox?

Yes, with limitations. Console systems operate within closed platforms, and only certain games transmit motion telemetry. Motion support is available only for compatible titles and requires additional motion hardware. Motion functionality applies to platform movement only and does not replace standard console controllers.

Q: What seat should I use with the platform?

Seat choice depends on personal comfort and driving or flying style. The H2 supports most bottom-mounted automotive and gaming seats.

Bucket-style racing seats are commonly used for added stability during higher motion intensity. Lightweight seats are recommended to allow faster and more precise motion response. Harness systems are optional.

Seats with sliders or rails are recommended for easier adjustment. Some bucket seats may require additional mounting brackets or adapters.

Seat Mount Dimensions:
Depth: 280 mm
Width options: 345 mm, 375 mm, or 405 mm

Q: Does it come assembled?

The H2 Motion Platform weighs approximately 60 to 100 kg depending on configuration. Units are shipped in multiple boxes for safe delivery, and some assembly is required. This allows users to customize their setup and become familiar with the system during installation.

Q: How does motion compensation work with VR?

When the motion platform moves, the VR headset moves with the user, which can slightly affect the in-game view. In most cases this effect is minimal.

If noticeable visual movement occurs, reducing motion intensity in the software settings often improves stability. Motion compensation software can also be used to help align visuals during platform movement.

VR tracking devices should be securely mounted to the platform and isolated from excessive vibration to maintain accurate tracking performance.
