FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Does the platform move my wheel, pedals, and seat together?

Yes. The H3 is a full-platform motion system, meaning all mounted components move together as a single unit, not just the seat.

Q: Will it work with PlayStation and Xbox?

Yes, with limitations. Console platforms operate within closed systems, and only certain games transmit motion telemetry. Motion support is available only for compatible titles and requires dedicated console motion hardware. Motion functionality applies to platform movement only and does not replace standard console controllers.

Q: What seat should I use with the platform?

Seat choice depends on personal comfort and driving style. The H3 supports most bottom-mounted automotive or gaming seats.

Bucket-style racing seats are commonly used for added stability during higher motion intensity. Lightweight seats are recommended to allow quicker and more precise motion response. Harness systems are optional.

Seats with sliders or rails are recommended for easier adjustment. Some bucket seats may require additional mounting brackets or adapters.

The H3 Motion Platform weighs approximately 60 to 100 kg depending on configuration. Units are shipped in multiple boxes for safe delivery, and some assembly is required upon arrival. This allows users to customize their setup and become familiar with the system during installation.

Q: How does motion compensation work with VR?

When the motion platform moves, the VR headset moves with the user, which can slightly affect the in-game view. In most cases this effect is minimal.

If noticeable visual movement occurs, reducing motion intensity in the software settings often improves stability. Motion compensation software can also be used to help maintain visual alignment during platform movement.

Tracking devices should be securely mounted to the platform and isolated from excessive vibration to ensure reliable performance.

Q: How quiet is it during operation?

The H3 operates at low noise levels for a motion platform. Actuator noise is minimal, with cooling fans being the primary audible component during use.
