Product Features

Product Features:

Six Degrees of Freedom (6DOF) Explained

The H6 reproduces the full range of natural motion cues experienced during real movement. Each motion axis contributes a specific type of force feedback, working together to create a fully coordinated physical motion experience.

Pitch
Forward and backward tilting simulates climbs, descents, takeoffs, braking, and acceleration.

Roll
Side-to-side tilt represents banking turns, cornering forces, and in-flight turbulence.

Yaw
Rotational movement simulates rudder input, oversteer, drifting, and spin maneuvers.

Heave
Vertical movement allows users to feel lift, surface bumps, and turbulence as the platform rises and falls.

Sway
Side-to-side translation recreates crosswinds, lateral grip loss, and sideways force loading.

Surge
Forward and backward translation simulates acceleration, deceleration, and weight transfer.

Each axis is driven by an independent high-torque actuator, producing smooth, real-time motion that stays synchronized with simulator telemetry.

Professional-Grade Design and Engineering

Industrial Steel Construction
The H6 is constructed from reinforced, laser-cut, and welded steel tubing, creating a rigid frame capable of supporting over 150 kg of combined user and equipment weight. The reinforced structure limits flex so motion feedback is delivered accurately to the cockpit.

Six Independent Actuators
Each axis is powered by a precision-tuned electric worm-gear actuator designed for controlled, high-speed movement. Closed-loop feedback sensors help maintain consistent positioning and torque, supporting smooth and stable motion across all six axes.

Low-Noise Drive System
Despite its power output, the H6 operates at low noise levels, typically below 50 dB. Worm-gear drives and vibration-dampened linkages help reduce sound output, making the platform suitable for home, training, and shared environments.

Advanced Motion Control
The integrated controller uses adaptive control algorithms to convert simulator telemetry into accurate motion cues with high timing precision. This allows movements such as small directional corrections or mid-corner force changes to remain closely aligned with on-screen activity.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How is the H6 different from the H2 or H3?

The H2 operates with two motion axes, pitch and roll. The H3 adds a third axis, yaw. The H6 expands this to all six degrees of freedom by adding heave (vertical movement), surge (forward and backward motion), and sway (side-to-side movement). This allows the H6 to deliver a more complete range of physical motion cues compared to partial-motion platforms.

Q: Will it work with PlayStation and Xbox?

Yes, with limitations. Console systems operate within closed platforms, and only certain games transmit motion telemetry. Motion support is available only for compatible titles and requires dedicated console motion hardware. Motion functionality applies to platform movement only and does not replace standard console controllers.

Q: What seat should I use with the platform?

Seat selection depends on personal comfort and driving or flying style. The H6 supports most bottom-mounted automotive and gaming seats.

Bucket-style racing seats are commonly used for added stability during higher motion intensity. Lightweight seats are recommended, as they allow faster and more responsive motion. Harness systems are optional.

Seats with sliders or rails are recommended for easier adjustment. Some bucket seats may require additional mounting brackets or adapters.

Seat Mount Dimensions:
Depth: 280 mm
Width options: 345 mm, 375 mm, or 405 mm

Q: Can I use it for both racing and flight simulation?

Yes. The H6 is designed for hybrid use and performs equally well in racing and flight simulation scenarios, from road vehicles to fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters.

Q: Does it support VR headsets?

Yes. The H6 is compatible with major VR headset systems. Motion software supports motion compensation features to help maintain stable visuals as the platform moves.

Q: How loud is the platform?

The H6 is engineered for quiet operation, typically producing noise levels below approximately 50 dB, even during full motion. This makes it suitable for indoor or shared environments.

Q: How difficult is assembly?

The platform ships partially pre-assembled. Most users complete installation and calibration within one to two hours using basic hand tools.

Q: Can I upgrade components later?

Yes. The H6 supports modular add-ons and accessory upgrades, including enhanced control systems and additional mounting options for specialized applications.

Q: What is the maintenance requirement?

Maintenance needs are minimal and generally include periodic bolt checks and light lubrication at regular intervals. The platform is designed for long-term use.

Q: How does motion compensation work with VR?

When the platform moves, the VR headset moves with the user, which can slightly affect visual alignment. In most cases this effect is minimal.

If noticeable visual movement occurs, reducing motion intensity in the software settings often improves stability. Motion compensation software can also be used to help align the headset view with platform movement.

Tracking devices should be securely mounted to the platform and isolated from excessive vibration to maintain consistent tracking performance.
